Interactive SHOP is a fully working virtual model of a shop and the processes involved in selling goods, re-orderings goods and analysing electronic data from the shop. Interactive SHOP is used at Key Stage 3 in ICT, supports the QCA scheme.
Interactive SHOP includes a virtual shop where food is dragged from the shelves onto the conveyor belt. Food is moved to the bar code reader, which scans the bar code and displays the item description and price. At the end of a shopping session goods are totalised and bonus points are issued for the customers loyalty card.
Interactive SHOP includes a purchase ordering module where purchase orders can be issued to replace sold items, so restocking the shop is possible.
Interactive SHOP contains forty product items that are referenced by a bar code number.
Includes sales data history that can be used in conjunction with shopping data generated by the user.
