Start Logo is an interactive tutorial designed to help children learn about Logo and use this popular language to draw basic shapes.
Start Logo features a tutorial with turtle based simulations for drawing.
Start Logo will prove useful for guiding the pupil through drawing simple lines and basic shapes.
Start Logo covers the basic Logo style commands and also includes sections on functions, variables and mathematical operators. Start Logo guides the pupil through drawing shapes with the screen turtle.
Start Logo is structured in providing the pupil to type in specific command lines and even prompts them with a message containing the correct line if they do not get it right. Although Start Logo is not a complete Logo drawing package, by the time pupils have used Start Logo they will be keen to use a full package and explore for themselves the power of Logo.
